            The Council for the Vail-Leavitt Music Hall, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation, and operates the premises primarily for use for charitable, moral, and mental improvement of men, women, and children, as well as for benevolent, educational and cultural purposes, and to sustain, promote, and encourage musical arts.  The Council may also lease all or a portion of the premises for public performances of events such as concerts, lectures, meetings, and other educational or non-commercial uses including but not limited to the presentation of dramas, comedy, film, travelogues, musical plays and dances.

                  The total capacity of the upstairs Opera House is approximately 240 seats.

Vail-Leavitt Music Hall is supported through non-profit and corporate sponsorship and volunteer participation. 

Our basic fee structure is presently:

 

Individual dates – Friday, Saturday, or Sunday $500.00 each
Full weekend – grouped Friday, Saturday and Sunday $1,100.00
Individual dates – Monday thru Thursday $400.00 each
Additional hour per rental date

$75.00
Additional rehearsal $75.00
In-house technician (sound and lights) $100.00

                        

A rental is for six hours.

Basically it is 2 hours before a show, a three hour show, and one hour after a show.

You must use our technician unless you are bringing your own equipment.

 

Our Sound Equipment consists of:

 

Board: Mackie CFX16 Mixer with built in digital effects & EQ

Compressor: Samson S-COMP compressor

Power Amp: QSC Power Amp RMX2450

Main Speakers: 2 JBL MP225 dual 15" 2 way speakers

Monitors: JBL EON10 G2

Other speakers:

12" Speakers in rear of balcony

15" speakers in rear of main floor

Both controlled by separate amp under board, by utility out

An elevator is located in the theater for transporting equipment upstairs.

 

You are responsible to sell and collect tickets the day of the show. Click here to go to our ticket info page.

Be sure to bring a bank for change.

 

These rates may be affected by other factors such as technical or support considerations, nature and type of performance, and the interests and goals of the Music Hall.  The Vail-Leavitt board must specifically approve any fee structure in advance.
